Heatsealing Bands/Wires

General

 

Heatsealing bands/wires are needed for sealing films/plastics and have a basic influence on the seam. Generally we differ in high- and low resistance heatsealing bands. Low resistance material is controlled with electronic temperature controllers in order to achieve short heating up times and a good repeatability of the sealing temperature. For an optimized functionality as well as for a low heat at the ends of the sealing bands the ends are enhanced by silver or copper.

    (Thereby less mechanical pressure
     at the edges of the seam)

  • For flat seams
  • Better seam quality with existing
    film wrinkels/folds in the sealing area
  • Recommended when extremely tight
    seams are required
    (E.g. vacuum packed products)

  • For Cut-and-Seal
  • Good cutting with a normal wearout of
    the PTFE antistick cover
  • Wider flat seam area/section accessible
